On Sunday, October 23, Generational Health Foundation held a free medical screening session at the Poku Transport Hospital in Kumasi.
We screened over 50 patients for malaria, diabetes, high blood pressure, and anemia. As part of the package, patients also had the opportunity to consult with our volunteer medical doctors and staff as well as receive a free comprehensive eye exam.
The turn out for this screening was encouraging and the beneficiaries are more than satisfied.
We continue to thank our generous donors for making such initiatives a reality.

On February 16, 2022, Generational Health Foundation (GHF), in partnership with the Federation of Ghana Medical Laboratory Science Student’s Association (FG-MELSA), completed a health promotion and screening project at the Kumasi Central Prison.

A total of 150 inmates and officers completed the screening. Of the 150 patients screened, 14 suffered from conditions requiring surgical intervention. Efforts are being made, in conjunction with authorities at the prison service, to arrange for GHF to perform many of these surgeries free of charge.
Kumasi Central Prison is a prison in Kumasi, Ghana. Kumasi is the capital city of the Ashanti Region, and is among the largest metropolitan areas in Ghana.
